Anza is a coastal district of the city of Agadir, just north of the port, on the road towards Aourir and Taghazout. Most accommodation is in small surf houses, hostels and holiday apartments within a few minutes' walk of Anza beach, where several of them give surf lessons. Dinosaur footprints about 85 million years old are preserved on the rocks of the shore, and a small natural-history exhibition space opened in the district in November 2022.
