Taghazout's famous point breaks come alive with the Atlantic winter swells: the season runs roughly from October to March, with the biggest and most consistent waves usually from December to March. Autumn and spring suit beginners and intermediates.
In summer the swell is generally smaller and less consistent on the points, but beginner lessons still run on the sheltered beaches. Instructors pick the spot that matches the day's waves and your level.
