Agadir in July

Average weather, sea temperature, events and the tours we recommend this month.

In short

In July Agadir averages highs of 27°C and lows of 19°C, about 8.2 hours of sunshine a day, a sea temperature around 20°C and almost no rainy days.

Stay close to the ocean: boat trips, coastal excursions and sunset rides are the most comfortable choice. Inland it is usually much hotter than on the coast, so long trips to Marrakech are not our first suggestion this month.

July is peak summer: warm, dry and lively, with the beach promenade busy well into the night. On the coast the heat is softened by the ocean, and summer mornings are often hazy before the sun breaks through. Recent editions of Agadir’s Timitar festival of Amazigh and world music have been held in July, and Throne Day is celebrated on 30 July.
