Tafraout, Anti-Atlas
The almond trees of the Anti-Atlas around Tafraout usually blossom around February, turning the pink granite valleys white and pink. Tafraout also holds an almond festival, but its dates change from year to year.
The exact timing of the blossom depends on the winter weather, so it can come earlier or later. The almond festival has no fixed date: its 12th edition, for example, ran from 10 to 13 April 2025.
